Wanting more than just a 🍺 by those stunning Co Wanting more than just a 🍺 by those stunning Cornish beach views 🏖? @theboathousefalmouth is the pub to go! With al-fresco dining options, the menu offers pub classics and comfort food made from local Cornish produce with a twist!Swipe right ➡️ to see the best triple cooked chips🍟 in all of Cornwall!📍Located in the heart of Falmouth near the high street, a 5 min walk from quirky shops and the harbour!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was very indecisive between going for one of their newer seasonal dishes such as the bangers and mash or the classic choice of a burger, in the end, I chose a dish that would let me try the crispiest, thickest chips I've ever had...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is what we went for in the end:🍝RAVIOLI WITH GREEN PESTO
A really nice veggie starter, the fresh nutty green pesto paired with a potato and leek flavoured ravioli was a fantastic combo as our dish was bursting with flavour. I always find pesto to be the perfect thing to warm up a pasta dish!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍗CAJUN CHICKEN BREAST BURGER W/ TRIPLE COOKED CHIPS
A solid burger choice, the chicken was marinated with BBQ style seasoning and accompanied with streaky, smoky bacon and a pretzel bun. The triple-cooked chips were the winner for me; crispy, thick and fluffy goodness inside with Cornish sea salt.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🐟WHOLE SEA BASS
Ryan chose the healthier option as sea bass is usually his default seafood choice. The dish looked and tasted exceptional!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
HONEYCOMB CHEESECAKE
Chocolate mousse style cheesecake with crunchy, golden honeycomb drizzled with chocolate sauce. One of the most indulgent dishes I've ever had!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you're looking for your next 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 staycation or are travelling down to Cornwall in the near future and are a massive foodie, Falmouth should be on your travel bucket list!
@ryanc_414 and I were fortunate enough to visit one of Falmouth's oldest pubs 🍻( I can't believe this pub is over 300 years old) and we were not disappointed with the food or views!A seaside town full of cobbled streets, cosy pubs, quirky vintage shops which stock Cornish local produce and 🏖, @theboathousefalmouth is the place to watch the boats go by and the Cornish sunset.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This classic British pub is full of Cornish heritage and does the typical meals you'd expect at a pub done exceptionally well - 🍔 , bangers and mash, fish and chips 🍟 but with a local twist. I can't wait to share the dishes we tasted on the menu - this will be a future post so stay tuned! If you're ever stuck on finding a proper pub by the sea, make sure you save this post and have a pint here!

You’re so close to securing a new job! Maybe you You’re so close to securing a new job! Maybe you left your former job or it’s your first-ever interview. You’ve updated your CV, applied for a bunch of jobs on LinkedIn, connected with tonnes of recruiters and now you’re getting snapped up for interviews. But what if it's a job that you REALLY REALLY REALLY want, aka 'your dream job 😍'?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
‼️Unpopular opinion, but I actually like interviews. I’m a people person and feel relaxed when talking about my experiences to strangers. I have mastered the art of interview prep, and one thing I have learnt is that the ‘Do you have any questions for me 🙋‍♀️’ moment is pivotal in extracting information and data about the company. Especially the culture, the job, the team and whether it will align with the personal values you hold. Tag someone you know who is going through an interview to share these questions with them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are my bullet-proof questions I'd ask at the end of an interview to show that I want this job and I want to get to the next stage😀! Check out the importance of asking these questions and how they give interview success at https://bit.ly/3hvRsiW or link in bio!

Save this post to remind you to ask the right questions at the end of the interview

What is an interview question that you always ask in job interviews⁉️? Mine has to be the 'what do you enjoy about working here? question!
Swapping black and navy cocktail dresses for Bohem Swapping black and navy cocktail dresses for Bohemian flowing dresses from #freepeopleuk with espadrilles because nothing shouts modernisation and progress like allowing your employees to 'dress for their day'. Today I decided to dress for the day where I'm no longer going to shun my love for florals and patterns and wearing bold and colourful clothes despite working in an occupation that favours wearing Ralph Lauren striped navy and white shirts accompanied by chinos.

When I was contemplating leaving Big 4 and Audit, When I was contemplating leaving Big 4 and Audit, I had phrases such as “Don’t give up now you’ve worked so hard”, “just ride it out” or “you’re never going to💗 your job every day” swirling in my 🧠whenever I would ask friends and family if I should quit my job and call it a day.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Feeling overwhelmed at the beginning or at a certain time in your career, but receiving support or knowing that things will get better shouldn’t mean you give up just yet.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, despising and dreading going to work every single day. Plus on weekends most likely means that it’s the right time to move on in your #careerpath and #quityourjob

Have you ever walked away and quit a job? How did it make you feel? I see so many quotes on LinkedIn saying that 'people don't leave jobs, they leave managers' and I 110% agree with this.
Missing eating pasta 🍝 with views of the Amalfi Missing eating pasta 🍝 with views of the Amalfi Coast or Sicily? @circolopopolare is the solution and whilst I've become exactly like everyone else on Instagram and visited this bustling 🇮🇹 restaurant I can confirm the hype is real and the Cacio e Pepe wheel is one of the most enjoyable pasta dishes I've eaten! Swipe right ➡️ to see the 'most Instagrammable restaurant in London' 😍📍Located super central, a very quick walk from Oxford Circus and near lots of fantastic pubs and bars!Everything on the menu looked good so we ordered both pizza and pasta and this is very much a sharing plates type of restaurant. This is what we went for in the end:🍕YASS QUEENI! Pizza
This pizza had everything; nutty pesto, sweet yellow tomatoes, creamy mozzarella fior di latte and delicate salty prosciutto on a Neopolitan style pizza base🍝CACIO E PEPE WHEEL FOR 2 💕The perfect main course for a couple - indulgent, rich and overloaded with pecorino and pepper. I could also taste notes of high-quality truffle and olive oil. There are fewer things finer in life than a well-cooked Cacio e Pepe that is best shared with your favourite person. Portion sizes were super generous and I would most likely come back to have the exact same dish again!Have you visited Circolo Populare? What did you order? I can't wait to try Ave Mario and Gloria! *Honest opinion - We visited Circolo at 9 pm as despite booking a month in advance, it was impossible to get an earlier reservation. I'd highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment or queuing up for hours outside.TAG A FRIEND THAT YOU KNOW LOVES PIZZA AND PASTA TO DROP A HUGE HINT THAT THIS IS THE NEXT ITALIAN YOU'D LIKE TO GO TO😍
